The Cleveland Browns continue their youth movement heading into 2017 as they have terminated the contract of defensive back Tramon Williams.

The 33-year old Williams joined the Browns in 2015 and started 22 games.

He never quite lived up to the hype of his three-year, $21 million deal that he signed as a free agent from Green Bay. Williams was scheduled to count for more than $7.5 million towards the cap for the Browns if he was on the roster in 2017.
